SANTOPRENE 103-40 is a hard polyolefin-based thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade. Exhibits chemical- and excellent ozone resistance. Provides good physical properties and is recyclable within the manufacturing stream. It is shear-dependent. Suitable for processing by coextrusion, vacuum-, thermoforming, blow-, multi injection molding, profile-, blow- and sheet extrusion. Used in appliance components, automotive applications like air induction system ducts, boots and bellows for steering and suspension, plugs, bumpers, grommets, clips, under the hood, consumer applications, diaphragms, electrical parts, living hinges and tubing. SANTOPRENE 103-40 complies with RoHS and UL 94 HB flame rating.
